Peak House is a voluntary, ten-week, live-in, treatment program for youth ages 13-18 years old (inclusive) experiencing problems with drugs, including alcohol. We are located in a large house in a residential neighbourhood in Vancouver. Our program is a suitable treatment option for youth with the willingness to get back on track with their lives. We welcome clients from all walks of life, cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, genders and gender expressions.

We serve first responders, military, and those impacted by occupational stress injuries including PTSD and MST, and other comorbidities.

Our home style facility is located on secluded private property in the heart of Kamloops, BC. Sage is a licensed private abstinence based residential treatment centre that offers a customized evidence-based treatment program for men and women who are struggling with addictions. Our gender-specific residences and programming provide a safe healing environment that contributes to a healthy respectful balance with our co-ed community and programming.

Westminster House Society is a residential addiction recovery centre for youth girls and women healing from addiction. We aim to promote and facilitate a desire for recovery, helping women help themselves overcome addiction. That’s what has made us a leader when it comes to drug rehab centers in Vancouver. Our treatment programs are designed to provide women with the necessary tools to trust their own ability to reclaim a drug-free existence. We are a unique treatment centre that focuses on teaching women how to live their life in recovery.

We have women from all walks of life come through our doors. Many have been using drugs or alcohol and understand they’ve become dependent on them. A large majority also come to us for high-quality psychiatric care to deal with serious stress, depression, anxiety, or trauma. Miklat Recovery Society is a non-profit registered charity offering residential drug and alcohol treatment in picturesque Powell River, on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. Miklat means “refuge”, and our program is designed to offer a place of refuge from the storms of addiction; a place where hope, inspiration, and practical tools can be given to men healing from the effects of substance use disorder.

For those who are struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, or work-related trauma, a stable treatment program can make the difference between recovery and relapse. But putting your family and career on hold to receive inpatient treatment is a disruption many people aren’t able to make. Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs) provide effective treatment for substance addictions, mental illness, and trauma/PTSD. Offered online across Canada and in-person at select locations, the 8-week intensive program offers 9 hours per week of group and individual therapy sessions, followed by 10 months of Aftercare sessions to support ongoing recovery. These evidence-based programs use proven therapeutic techniques and psychoeducation to help patients learn the tools and skills they need to achieve long-term recovery. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Behavioural Activation Therapy (BA).

Situated amidst the natural beauty of Vancouver Island’s east coast, Edgewood provides the tranquillity and challenge patients need to get better. Their team of doctors is part of a large, diverse therapeutic community focused on treatment for addiction, mood and anxiety disorders, and trauma. We are a team of experienced professionals with experience in developing and executing evidenced-based, personalized treatment for individuals dealing with addiction. Our team is dedicated and passionate about helping individuals achieve and sustain sobriety. We understand that this may not be the first time an individual has attempted recovery and we are able to identify from the first assessment what approaches have previously worked or not. This enables the team to develop the best treatment plan in order to give the highest chances of a successful long term recovery.

We treat the roots behind addictions. At the Crossing Point we believe in treating the individual, that is why we include at least TWO 1-on-1 private sessions each week which is rare in our industry. On top of this we add a full complement of daily sessions focusing on topics like Anxiety & Depression, Grief and Loss, Self-Esteem, Anger, Co-Dependency, Trauma, 12 steps, Self-Care, Distress Tolerance, Emotional Regulation, and Relapse Prevention. Our Individualized program allows us to address your specific situation and circumstances. We offer program lengths of 30, 60, 90, or 120 days for both men and women as it is a proven fact that longer treatment lengths increase positive treatment outcomes. Small Admissions Sizes Help as well! We only take a maximum of 6 male of female clients at a time. This helps to ensure that no one slips through the cracks, as often in larger centers it is hard to be heard among the crowd. At The Crossing Point, your voice is important.
