We are a group of CBT informed therapists offering psychotherapy and coaching/counselling services in Montreal (PsyMontreal) and across Canada (PsyVitaliti). All of our therapists are either licensed professionals or are interns in the final stages of professional development needed for the completion of their degree or licensure. Collectively, we offer the most scientifically validated types of psychotherapy and coaching services, helping over 500 clients per year. We also offer telepsychotherapy and telecounselling services in the provinces of Quebec, Alberta, Ontario and British Columbia.

The Canadian Treatment Centre for Obsessive Compulsive Disorders (CTCOCD, www.ctcocd.ca) is the national specialized treatment center for OCD and related disorders throughout the lifespan: children, adolescents, and adults. CTCOCD programs are tailored for persons whose symptoms and related difficulties range from very mild and newly developed to very severe and longstanding. Treatment is offered to Canadians from all provinces and regions and to international residents. Highly specialized CTCOCD services to optimize recovery involve office based sessions for most persons. Intensive treatment programs with a team of experts are available for local and out of town patients who need this service (i.e., prolonged sessions several times weekly or daily). Home visits are offered to help where symptoms occur. Therapist assisted home based specialty treatments may be offered as an effective alternative to hospitalization for very severe symptoms. Strategies for generalization of change, resilience, skills, and self-esteem as well as relapse prevention are integral. Phone or skype sessions are possible for individuals in remote regions who cannot access specialized care. Psychiatric and pharmacological consultation and treatment are available if needed with experienced staff psychiatrists affiliated with the CTCOCD. Treatment is not time-limited and services are bilingual.

Life Science Addiction Treatment Center is a private, residential facility for English-speaking adults struggling with alcohol and/or drug addiction. We offer highly personalized inpatient services of short-, moderate- or long-term duration. Our goal is the provision of responsible, evidence-based treatment practices in a professional and affordable manner. Teaching constructive life skills is a primary means of discontinuing harmful or self-limiting behaviour, as well as in achieving successful levels of personal, social and occupational functioning. Finally, we hope to foster personal growth in supporting these complimentary goals: rehabilitation, maintenance of positive change and promotion of mental wellness.

Our experienced team of mental health professionals understands depression. Our clinic offers innovative options such as Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to support treatment-resistant depression. TMS is an outpatient, drug free treatment intended for patients who are not responding to medication or unable to tolerate antidepressant medication. A Health Canada approved non-invasive therapy, TMS uses magnetic pulses to stimulate targeted areas of the brain involved in mood regulation. TMS is available for the treatment of depression at our downtown Vancouver clinic location under the supervision of trained clinicians. TMS is also now available for the treatment of depression, OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) and smoking cessation at our downtown Montreal clinic.

For those who are struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, or work-related trauma, a stable treatment program can make the difference between recovery and relapse. But putting their families and careers on hold to receive inpatient treatment is a disruption many people aren’t able to make. And some outpatient programs simply don’t provide the level of attention some patients need. Now available from EHN Outpatient Services, our Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs) provide effective, short-term treatment for substance addictions, mood and anxiety disorders, and trauma/PTSD. Offered in-person at a clinic location across Canada (where safety precautions permit) and virtually via EHN Online, the IOP therapeutic program consists of 8 weeks of intensive treatment, 9 hours of group and individual sessions per week, plus 10 months of aftercare to support ongoing recovery. Important psychoeducation uses the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Behavioural Activation Therapy (BA). We also offer an exclusive Healthy Minds Teen Program with specialized programming for those aged 14-18.

The Centre for Mental and Psychological Health has been established to bring international quality psychological treatments to our clients without compromise. We are a multidisciplinary team of Psychotherapists, Psychologists and Psychiatrists who offer assessment, diagnostic consultation, psychotherapy and wider psychosocial care services, including liaison with other healthcare professionals. We are committed to providing you with timely access to a range of evidence-based psychotherapies including CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioural Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) and others, as determined by your need.
