Paradise Valley Healing Center formerly known as Chopra Addiction & Wellness Center is a private residential center specializing in treating a broad range of addictive behaviours and psychological trauma. We are nestled on a peaceful 10-acre property set on the banks of the Cheakamus River only an hour's drive north of Vancouver, BC. What makes us unique is our holistic approach to healing that promotes balance and integration of body, mind and spirit. We will help you move beyond self destructive behaviour as you restore your health and transform your life. Our clinical program involves a collaborative bio-psychosocial and spiritual assessment. Guests experience a high standard of care from highly trained and compassionate healthcare professionals committed to providing the safety and expertise needed to work on underlying issues. The comprehensive healing method is trauma informed and combines evidence-based therapeutic tools supporting healthy sustainable change through assessment, treatment and post-residential stages. Treatment plans are customized to meet guests' needs. With a maximum of 16 residential guests, a high level of personal care and attention is assured. What We Offer
At Paradise Valley Healing Center we are committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment where guests can transform the underlying causes of addiction, freeing them to discover their deepest passions, purpose and happiness in life. Our guests are supported and guided by a team of holistic health care professionals who have experience working with all types of addiction and emotional health issues. Our compassionate and highly trained staff is experienced in helping people recover from all types of addiction and emotional health issues, including: depression, anxiety, alcoholism, drug abuse, psychological trauma, disordered eating, sexually addictive behaviour and smoking. Our in- depth program includes a bio-psycho-social assessment that provides guests with insight into areas they need to work on while at the Center. Our program includes group and individual therapy sessions, yoga, meditation, massage, acupuncture and art therapy, supported by the collective energy of loving staff committed to modelling connection, healing and wholeness. A collaborative extensive bio-psychosocial & spiritual assessment Individual consultation with a psychiatrist available upon request Medical history & consultation Individualized treatment plan reviewed on an ongoing basis 2x50 minute individual therapy sessions weekly Daily 90 minute group therapy sessions Meditation & yoga sessions offered twice daily Chopra Curriculum sessions focusing on addiction and non-nurturing behaviours Discussion groups exploring Mind, Body & Spirit Relapse Prevention & Healthy Boundary groups Access to a variety of supportive group experiences including AA/NA groups Instruction in the timeless tools & techniques of Ayurveda - the world's oldest healing science Health and Nutrition session Weekend Family sessions Yoga Therapy sessions twice a week Acupuncture weekly Expressive Art therapy and healing sound sessions Evening sessions that include cooking demonstrations, market tours, camp fire and therapeutic games Opportunities for mindfulness walks and guided hikes Exercise opportunities in a fully equipped gym Continuing Care Services including up to 12 weeks of individual therapy sessions after you depart. 24 hour staff support Call or Email Paradise Valley Healing Center now for a free 15 minute consultation - (778) 651-9691
