Together We Can recognizes that addiction is a chronic, progressive illness and that abstinence is only the beginning of recovery. Individuals participating in our program develop an awareness of how their thoughts and beliefs block them from wellness and inner peace. Each person learns to take personal responsibility for making positive and healthy new choices for themselves. A key aspect of recovery is learning how to heal interpersonal relationships. The shift from feeling alone and isolated to being connected and feeling "a part of" is vital for our program. We provide a safe, therapeutic community environment for people to begin their pursuit of a new way of life. Our addiction treatment programs, supported recovery houses, continuing care, and alumni initiatives provide residents with an integrated approach to recovery.

Our 5-week residential Traumatic Stress Recovery Program (TSRP), followed by 6 weeks of Post-Treatment Support, is a customized program for individuals who have experienced trauma or who suffer from symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
Our treatment center is located in Kelowna, in the heart of British Columbia's Okanagan Valley. Kelowna is a popular recreation paradise with miles of beautiful parkland, sandy beaches, and lush mountains that provide wonderful opportunities for healing and recovery. Clients stay at modern and comfortable home residence while they attend treatment at our clinic during the day. Groups are kept small, at no more than 6 people per group. Our program is offered to the general population, First Responders, Veterans, and any individual who has suffered from occupational stress injury (OSI). First responders and Veterans are placed in a cohort, separate from the general population.

Set amidst 110 acres of land in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia, patients benefit from healing in peaceful surroundings, with fields, woodland, and coastline all within reach. They have programs specially designed to treat patients struggling with substance use with or without concurrent mental illness (includes detox, stabilization, psychoeducation, skill-building and relapse prevention) or experiencing symptoms of PTSD or operational stress injury as a result of their line of work.
