GreeneStone Centre for Recovery - Program Overview
GreeneStone Centre for Recovery is a private, CARF accredited addiction treatment facility located in in the heart of Muskoka, just two hours north of Toronto. Located on 43 acres of tranquil property, GreeneStone is the ideal location for healing and recovery. Our treatment program focus' on the treatment of alcohol and substance use disorders, as well as concurrent conditions. Our holistic treatment approach, on-site medically supervised detox, private and semi-private accommodations, 24-hour nursing staff, calm atmosphere, structured immersive program, and alumni and aftercare programs provide our clients with the tools they need for success. GreeneStone's approach is flexible, allowing treatment to be adjusted or adapted as needed. This ensures that each client is recovering safely, effectively, and at a pace that promotes their best chances of sustained recovery. Throughout their stay all client’s are continually assessed and provided with feedback on their progress to address their most pressing needs and challenges. Recreation and Fitness
To help our clients advance in their treatment and promote their physical health, we offer several recreational activities that promote a mind-body connection. We actively encourage our clients to take advantage of these on-site amenities during their free time. GreeneStone offers personal training to all our client’s, which gives them a customized training plan to get started on their health goals. Massage therapy is also offered on a weekly basis. Amenities include: personal trainer, indoor swimming pool, weight & cardio rooms, yoga studio and classes, tennis court, basketball court, volleyball court, shuffleboard, and massage therapy. Diet and Nutrition
Diet and nutrition are foundations for good health and addiction recovery. GreeneStone offers healthy and nourishing meals featuring fresh, local, sustainable and organic ingredients, many of which are grown in our own gardens. Our in-house Red Seal Chef ensures that all meals incorporate a healthy balance of essential food groups as clients strive to achieve a healthier lifestyle. GreeneStone is renowned for the quality dining experience we provide. There are three set meal times throughout the day where residents will gather together in our beautiful, bright dining area. Healthy snacks, tea and coffee are always available throughout the day and are easily accessible Any allergies and or food restrictions are noted upon intake so that the kitchen staff are prepared to meet our client’s dietary requirements.
