Our treatment program integrates a well-rounded balance of individual and group therapy sessions, an overall wellness program, meetings, social activities, exercise, healthy meals, on-site gym, and time for rest, relaxation and reflection. All designed to meet the unique physical, emotional, psychological, and social needs of each one of our guests. We also include a family program, in our 60 & 90 day treatment package, for loved ones who are affected by the substance use. Upon arriving at the Foothills Centre for Change, you will be introduced to staff and shown your private room and a tour of the facility. An intake meeting will be conducted that includes filling out necessary paperwork, and discussing what your individualized treatment plan will entail. We consider your personal history, the specific nature of your addiction, and a host of other pertinent information in order to optimize your recovery experience. Making a decision to choose a better way of living is the first step to begin the process of addiction recovery. Once in treatment, clients reflect on past decisions, discover underlying causes driving their addiction, learn how to change destructive behaviors, find serenity, and begin to know their authentic self again. Our therapeutic and educational groups are designed to help individuals learn how to communicate honestly with themselves and others. Integrating valuable routines in everyday life is essential for people who are determined to succeed in their addiction recovery after the residential program is complete.
