EHN Guardians Gateway offers a safe space for Canada’s military, veterans, RCMP, and first-responder communities to begin their recovery journeys. Their staff understand the unique challenges faced by these communities, and believe in providing programs to help them face and overcome those challenges. Located in Peterborough, Ontario (approximately 1.5 hours outside of Toronto), EHN Guardians Gateway offers clients evidence-based treatment for trauma and addiction without judgment or stigma. Situated on 15 acres in peaceful Peterborough, EHN Guardians Gateway provides a calming start to the road of recovery. Here, members can focus on treatment, recovery, and even some recreational activities. Yoga, golf, basketball, and a full gym are just a few of the amenities available that will allow members to prioritize both physical and mental wellness. Comprehensive Support for Long-term Recovery
Support from EHN Guardians Gateway does not end once you step out the door. We believe that ongoing recovery requires ongoing care. That’s why one year of aftercare, an important part of relapse prevention, is included for all eligible EHN Guardians Gateway patients who complete treatment. To reinforce the change of continued recovery, Aftercare is available in-person at a clinic location across Canada, or virtually through EHN Online. The program also includes access to the helpful Wagon app for setting goals, tracking progress, and monitoring triggers. And is inpatient treatment not right for you? EHN Outpatient Services also offers online and in-person (where safety precautions permit) therapies that accommodate for busy lifestyles at home and at work, from Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs) to specialty groups to aftercare.
