Counselling for All's mission is to support people across Canada who are experiencing life challenges because of their mental health and are not able to access care due to financial barriers. We provide budget-friendly counselling paired with tailored holistic solutions for your unique needs and goals. This creates a strong foundation for the individuals we work with. As they develop mental strength, they can pursue tangible opportunities that promote their wellbeing, such as their dream career, financial stability, specialized education and more. We offer affordable virtual mental health care. Please see our the list of specialties below. Your first session will be free and is focused towards aligning the services you need and your budget to our sliding scale fees and holistic wraparound support services. We also know that life isn't just all about mental health. We care about your holistic wellbeing. Unlike other organizations, Counselling for All addresses your overall needs through wraparound support. We believe mental health care is a universal need. The World Health Organization states that mental illness is a leading cause of disability, with 970 million people suffering worldwide. Locally, the Mental Health Commission of Canada’s research finds that one-in-five Canadians struggle with a mental health problem. Even with universal healthcare, the price that mental health care requires acts as a barrier for most. Our founders, Mobina and Ehsan, were not an exception. With not being able to access care, their lives were overwhelmed by intergenerational trauma, which cast a long, dark shadow over their families. This struggle fractured their relationships and created challenges for their mental health. Even as a trauma therapist herself, Mobina felt slow in overcoming her difficulties. She wanted the pain to end with her generation, and meeting Ehsan, who shared her experiences, amplified her determination. Together, they committed to breaking the cycle by healing themselves and helping heal others. Mobina and Ehsan committed to a better tomorrow through planting seeds to create healthier families for future generations by creating Counselling for All.
