Program, included for all eligible patients who complete a residential treatment program, was created to reduce the chances of relapse and help patients reintegrate back into their lives more seamlessly.
For those who are struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, or work-related trauma, a stable treatment program can make the difference between recovery and relapse. But putting their families and careers on hold to receive inpatient treatment is a disruption many people aren’t able to make. And some outpatient programs simply don’t provide the level of attention some patients need. Now available from EHN Outpatient Services, our Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs) provide effective, short-term treatment for substance addictions, mood and anxiety disorders, and trauma/PTSD. Offered in-person at a clinic location across Canada (where safety precautions permit) and virtually via EHN Online, the IOP therapeutic program consists of 8 weeks of intensive treatment, 9 hours of group and individual sessions per week, plus 10 months of
to support ongoing recovery. Important psychoeducation uses the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Behavioural Activation Therapy (BA). We also offer an exclusive Healthy Minds Teen Program with specialized programming for those aged 14-18.
