I see relationships as one of our primary sources of meaning in life, but they can be hard. Like many people, you may be feeling frustrated and lonely despite trying your best to make your relationships work. Maybe you long to feel seen, accepted, and valued, but instead, you feel drained, discouraged, and disconnected, wondering if anything can really change. Whether it's for your romantic, family, parenting, friendship, or workplace relationships, counselling can help. I am currently accepting new clients - please contact me for a free consultation. I bill directly to Pacific Blue Cross, SunLife, and TELUS Health.
In therapy, we will explore what is weighing on you and get to know how unmet needs, conflict, and disconnection are affecting your life. We will also explore how bigger family, systemic, and societal factors may be contributing to your suffering. Building on your existing strengths, we will find areas for growth so you can feel more authentic and fulfilled.
This is also a place to take a break, a place where it is OK to not be OK, where you do not have to hold it together. Whether we meet in person, online, over the phone, or out for a walk, you will receive care and support without judgment. My counselling approach is feminist, existential, anti-oppressive, and kind. I welcome you as you are.
