Clients come to me when they (or their loved ones) are dealing with anxiety, depression, behavioural challenges, mood swings, challenging life events, flash backs, PTSD, or childhood trauma. I use Brainspotting, EMDR, Creative Arts therapy and other strength-based approaches to help clients build confidence, self-understanding, and concrete strategies to manage the challenges of daily life. My clients learn about the brain-body connection of their distress and challenges, building positive skills to be able to manage life’s stresses and become less overwhelmed by emotional triggers.
I work with clients to find short-term relief of symptoms and long-term solutions to assist them in building the life and relationships that they desire for themselves. My work is inclusive of people of all gender expressions, relationship structures, and life goals.
I trust my clients' own strengths and self-understanding and consider them the captain of their treatment. Together we build a diverse and varied treatment plan which suits each client's needs and goals, based on proven techniques and interventions. I endeavour for my clients to leave sessions feeling capable, confident, and self-reflective.
