Hi! I'm Zeb. I understand that when a young person is experiencing emotional or behavioural problems it reorganizes the way that a whole family functions. I believe that better understanding our own emotions and the emotions of others is the key to helping make positive change in the lives of children and families.
I'm trained in Emotion Focused Therapy and experienced in supporting caregivers with emotion focused approaches to parenting as well as traditional behavioural approaches to parenting. I blend this approach with other training I have in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
The difficulties you are experiencing right now likely feel overwhelming. It could be that you have tried many strategies to deal with these problems, or maybe this is the first time you've considered seeking support. Whatever the case, I'm interested in listening to your story and helping you to find a path towards improved mental and emotional health.
