Hello and welcome! I specialize in providing trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, anti-oppressive, and gender-affirming individual and couples therapy. In individual therapy, I support racialized folks, women, immigrants and LGBTQI2S+ folks with relationship issues, depression, anxiety, life transitions, generational trauma, and family dynamics. In couples therapy, I help couples at all relationship stages to manage conflict and repair connection, build healthy communication skills, and enhance intimacy. I'm especially interested in helping folks navigate cultural differences in intercultural/racial relationships.
As an immigrant and South Asian woman, my therapy work is grounded in my own intersectionality and lived experiences. I believe we can only be understood through a consideration of all intersecting aspects of our identities and the systems we live in. I look forward to getting to know you and your strengths and working with you to achieve your therapy goals.
It’s important for me to develop meaningful relationships with my clients that are grounded in empathy, radical transparency, and safety. If you think I might be the right therapist for you, please reach out for a free phone consultation where I would be able to provide you with more information about me and my practice and answer any questions you may have!
