My focus is to help people see their intrinsic strengths and deal with challenges in an empowered way. Having worked in the counseling field for over 30 years, has allowed me to gain a unique perspective on human resiliency. I work with individuals and couples in areas such as stress related issues, depression/anxiety, grief/loss, post-traumatic stress, career direction and cross cultural counseling.
I specialize in stress related concerns and depression/anxiety. I am working more with people around life and career transitions, including retirement counseling. I also enjoy working with people from different cultures and the LGBT community.
I believe therapy is a process through which we can rediscover our true essence & tap into our inner wisdom. It involves working through the past & embracing the present. It also means integrating body, mind & spirit in our own unique way. I find working with people to be a very rewarding experience & look forward to going on this journey with you.
