My work as a therapist is informed by human resilience and our intrinsic drive to heal. I believe that we are oriented towards growth, and the integration of trauma, life experience and pain is the doorway to actualization. I see therapy as a tool for becoming, it is process of unfolding, discovering and meeting yourself. This work can be challenging: struggle is part of the human experience, however, so is transformation, connection, and change. I work closely with those who have experienced trauma, disordered eating and body image issues, and anxiety and depression.
I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and curious therapeutic space for you to explore yourself. I use a holistic, multimodal and body-oriented approach, incorporating parts-work, epigenetics, research on intergenerational trauma, attachment theory, emotion-focused therapies, mindfulness, existential and systems theories.
