As humans we face many challenges and struggles that can have great impact on our life. This could be the anxieties and uncertainties of the future, struggles getting out of bed, emotional distress, past and current traumas, addictions, relationship difficulties, grief or feeling alone. We need to feel loved, supported and have a safe place in order to work through difficult seasons. I believe it takes great strength to seek that support. I want to create an environment where people don't feel alone in their struggles and a place where they can develop ways of improving their circumstances.
My approach to therapy is to provide a safe and compassionate environment where we take the time and care to heal and grow. I have over 6 years experience working with university students, adolescents and adults in a variety of issues including abuse, trauma and PTSD, addictions, marriage and relationship issues, grief, anxiety and depression.
Life is messy. I want to walk with you and help guide you through the messiness and help you through the process of change. Therapy is an active approach that requires work, care and attention. I believe that you are worth the investment of time and effort to get you to where you want to go and who you want to be.
