I live with Bipolar I, and wrote "A Family's Guide to Bipolar Disorder: From a Clinician with the Condition". I know what it's like to dread the next episode and build a stable life when the ground keeps shifting. My clients want to stay ahead of episodes, spot warning signs earlier, and trust their own footing again. Some are newly diagnosed and overwhelmed, others have managed this for years but are frustrated crisis mode still feels like the default. I also work with family members exhausted from trying to help - parents, partners, siblings hitting compassion fatigue. Together, we move from always reacting to actually living.

I'm a Registered Social Worker with 6+ years of bipolar-focused practice, trained in IPSRT, CBT, ACT, DBT, and family therapy. Like my clients, I live with Bipolar I, I've likely been where you are. Sessions are conversational or structured as needed. IPSRT stabilizes sleep and daily rhythms where management starts. We use evidence-based approaches to address the thoughts, emotions, and behaviours that keep you stuck. Early on, anxiety about episodes decreases. As stability builds, we meet less frequently. This works best if you're ready to track patterns and take an active role in recovery.
