I'm a registered psychotherapist with a PhD in counseling psychology. With over 15 years of experience, I aim to create a warm and supportive environment for my clients. My approach is caring and non-judgmental, allowing us to work together towards clear goals. I use different therapy methods like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), client-centered therapy, schema-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness strategies, and existential therapy. I tailor my approach to each person's unique needs and preferences.
I apply my psychotherapy expertise to develop innovative treatments for clients, staying updated through workshops and conferences. Beyond my practice, I'm dedicated to reducing the psychological impact of fundamentalism in the Middle East, conducting research and supporting Yazidi women and children rescued from ISIS in the Middle East.
I speak English, Persian, and Kurdish fluently, offering psychological services in these languages to serve a diverse range of clients. While I'm primarily available during the day, I also accommodate some evening and weekend appointments for those with different schedule needs.
