I am a Registered Counselling Therapist (RCT) and Certified Music Therapist (MTA). I provide virtual counselling & music therapy for adults in private practice in Alberta and Nova Scotia. My background spans working with clients impacted by addiction/are in recovery, depression/anxiety, ADHD, trauma/PTSD, abuse, Veteran's care (Military & RCMP) and the criminal justice system. My approach to therapy is anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and person-centered. I work collaboratively with clients to identify their personal goals and support their well-being while considering the holistic, intersecting aspects at play in their lives.
Sessions with me include using verbal processing and/or music as therapeutic tools to creatively explore feelings, experiences, and challenges that may be present for you. I offer a compassionate presence to help deepen understanding of yourself and world, integrate insights, and connect with your unique strengths & resources for healing and personal growth.
I aim to meet my clients where they are in their life journey, and work together to guide and mobilize chaos and complexity into positive empowered change. Sliding scale may be available, and I offer a free first session as I understand there may be barriers to accessing therapy and the support that you deserve.
