I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) who graduated with my master’s in counselling psychology (MACP) at Yorkville University, with a Bachelor of Law from the University of Sussex in England where I am originally from. I have an interest in helping people with their mental health and wellbeing. I specialize in anxiety, depression, imposter syndrome and trauma in children and young adults as well as adults. I can help clients ranging from all walks of life and have a variety of experience with people of different cultural backgrounds.
My practice centers on supporting children, youth, young adults, adults and their families in helping them with their mental health. I have a warm tone and am welcoming in my disposition. I use a person-centred approach as well as CBT to influence change in helping clients feel better as well as making goals to pursue positive outcomes in my clients’ lives.
I also work well with culturally diverse populations. My goal is to motivate his clients to feel happier on the inside through a variety of modalities: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Motivational Interviewing Person-Centred Therapy Trauma-Informed Care Narrative Therapy. I am fluent in English and Arabic.
