Hi! I’m XT (they/them); I’m the Founder & Clinical Director of Rainbow Counselling. I’m a white settler of mixed Western European & South American descent. I’m queer, nonbinary & neurodivergent w/ lived experience as someone healing from CPTSD. My upbringing was informed by mixed cultural identities & traditions. I care deeply about how the impacts of colonization, immigration & displacement impact our mental health & trauma histories. I specialize in IFS, EMDR & Somatic Therapy. I truly believe trauma healing is possible and strive to create a therapeutic space where that can happen. In our space together we might laugh, swear & shed a tear or two. Consent is the basis of my work, and I find therapy the most valuable when you feel you have choice in where we go, in our space together.
I built a group practice that centers queer + trans, racialized, disabled & neurodivergent community & work best with those looking to work through complex trauma, & multiple diagnoses.
