Woolwich Counselling Centre is dedicated to providing the highest quality of professional counselling services to individuals in Woolwich / Wellesley Townships and surrounding areas. All therapists have a minimum of a Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related field and are registered with their respective professional colleges. Counselling fees are often covered by extended health benefits. Our fees are geared to income, based on a sliding fee scale and service is offered regardless of ability to pay.

Our therapists have expertise assisting adults, teens and children resolve a wide range of emotional and mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, family conflict, grief, sexuality, parenting concerns, trauma, insomnia, etc. We are part of the Family Violence Prevention Program, supporting those individuals healing from domestic violence.

We are committed to the emotional well-being of children and adolescents. Our approach is family centered where parents are regularly involved in their child’s therapy. Our therapists have extensive training in the treatment of various childhood mental health issues. Two specially designed play therapy rooms assist children to feel comfortable in the process

NO NEED TO FRET (ages 8-11), provides successful strategies to help anxious children cope with fears and worries. (Oct. 5-Nov. 2, 2022 and Mar. 29-Apr. 26, 2023 from 5:00-6:00 pm). Fee: $100. CONQUERING TEEN ANXIETY for ages 12-14, assists teens to learn effective ways to cope with teenage pressures and stress. (Nov. 9- Dec. 7, 2022 from 4:30-6 pm and Mar. 28-Apr. 25, 2023 from 4:30-6 pm). Fee: $100. Further subsidies available if needed.
