At Grace North Psychotherapy our clinicians create a safe space for you to process your thoughts and feelings and gain a deeper understanding of self in relation to your relationships with others and the world around you. We will help you gain insight into your past and present, shine a light on your strengths and help you work through challenges to achieve a better state of mind and start living with more grace and ease.
Our clinicians are trauma-informed and trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioural therapy, DBT, attachment-focused therapy and emotion focused therapy and EMDR. We are often creative in our therapeutic approach and draw from a variety of strength-based frameworks to best meet the needs of those we work with.
We work with children/youth, parents and adults who are struggling with a variety of mental health difficulties. A workshop for dad's/non birthing parents that will provide information for perinatal mood disorders for birthing & non birthing partner and the mental/emotional load of the birthing parent. You will learn ways to support a birthing parent following birth & how to support your own mental health. This is a one time workshop offered via zoom on June 14th 6:30-8pm. Cost of workshop is by donation with proceeds to support perinatal mental health.
