Wherever you are on your path, this is where we shall meet. I am a registered Social Worker who is presently working on PEI. I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings over the last 15 plus years providing services to individuals, children, and families. In the last 5 years I have been working as a clinical therapist offering individual counselling for personal life issues, relationship stress, crisis situations, grief and loss. I have supported people with a wide range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, complex trauma, grief and loss.
On my own journey, I have recognized the value of being a life-long learner. This mindset can be applied at any time or age to further enrich our lives. When we allow ourselves to be open and honest, we can create an opportunity for healing, and a deeper connection to our authentic selves.
I have a genuine desire to offer an experience of validation and feeling heard. This process creates an atmosphere of trust and safety, allowing those inner places to surface. The journey fosters an opportunity for growth and change, using new skills along with one's own lived experience, to draw strength and resilience.
