I specialize in helping adults and adolescents (16+) experiencing family/relationship conflict; difficult life transitions (e.g., menopause, separation, grief); the effects of trauma, depression, anxiety; or who are curious about neurodivergence, gender, or sexual orientation. My practice is integrative - I combine psychodynamic "talk" therapy, with aspects of CBT, DBT, IFS and trauma methods (somatic experiencing, Brain Spotting), in a mindful and transpersonal framework. I provide space to explore your feelings and practice adjustments to help you live your life with greater clarity and self-acceptance.
I spent years in research settings exploring depression in women, especially during times of hormonal changes. Although scientific findings inform my work, and I am happy to provide psychoeducation to clients, I am committed to an overall holistic approach that considers the interplay of biology, culture, spirituality, and social position to mental health.
I am covered by all benefit providers that support psychotherapy. I provide a complimentary 20 minute consultation session to help us determine if we are a good fit. I work both virtually and in person from my office in the West Rouge region in east Toronto, ON. My practice is anti-racist, queer- and trans-friendly.
