My clients know that when they are going through a period of difficulty they need extra support. They are often struggling with unresolved personal or relational issues and want to come to peace in order to move forward. Or they might be longing to find a new direction in life and are not sure how to do that. I have worked for over 25 years in the field of human transformation and as a psychologist for 12 years. My approach is warm, direct, honest and personal. I enjoy the creativity of collaborating with clients to bring forward fresh perspectives and resources, share life’s humour, and a find new direction in life.
I believe in our innate capacity to live a better and more meaningful life. I use EMDR and Family Systems Constellation when clients are stuck in a pattern, a traumatic event, or a deep-seated relational issue. With children, I also use play therapy, expressive arts, and mindfulness to build confidence, self-esteem, connectedness, and emotional well-being.
I see adult clients in person and online. Sessions are one hour in length and I also offer two hour intensive sessions. I only see children and adolescents in-person as I use ‘hands-on’ and interactive approaches. I currently have a waiting list but please email me if you are interested in talking further and I will respond within 48 hours.
