I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) and a Certified EMDR Therapist with over 16 years of experience. By gently interweaving both these modalities, EMDR becomes more gentle! I am passionate about journeying alongside my clients to aid a deeper loving connection with self and in turn with others. By incorporating the mind body connection my clients welcome parts of themselves and their lives that at one time may have been excruciating into an integral, whole and beautiful self. My approach to counselling is very much rooted in the here and now. My goal is to help you get through whatever life difficulties you are facing and help equip you with the skills and insight to handle anything else that may come up in the future. Although our main focus will be helping you with the immediate issues at hand, I find value in looking at past behaviors and incidents to better help you understand how your emotions may be effecting your current situations. Each person is unique, therefore, your sessions will be tailored to best serve you and help you grow in the areas you wish to see improvement in.
