ACCEPTING clients - ONLINE Counselling and Clinical Supervision. I am an experienced Masters level therapist and Clinical Supervisor. I specialize in perinatal and postpartum mood disorders, anxiety, women's health, parenting, and couples counselling. In addition to counselling, a large part of my practice includes providing clinical consultation and supervision to other practitioners and group practices across Saskatchewan.

I have a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology with a wealth of experience in counselling as well as violence and abuse prevention programming. I am a Certified Canadian Counsellor and supervisor. I work with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, intimate partner violence, relationship issues, parenting issues, or life transitions. I am welcoming to all faith backgrounds and gender identities, and believe in creating a culturally safe space for clients. I work from a trauma informed perspective as you process your experience. I am passionate about empowering individuals to find strength and hope in their lives.

Lauren is client centered and straight forward. She understands and recognizes the way that trauma can effect one's life. Trauma changes how a person regulates their thoughts and feelings and their ability to care for themselves emotionally and psychologically. Our body's way of coping is immediate and on survival mode and if we never learnt how to cope, we don't know how. Accepting new clients. With 28 years of experience working as a psychologist in both a teaching hospital and a private practice setting, I have strong psychotherapy skills. My understanding of attachment, trauma, and emotional functioning allows me to rapidly assess the factors that contribute to an individual's distress and intervene to move clients to more optimal functioning in the shortest time possible.

I am accepting new assessment clients and group therapy clients; I am not currently able to take on new individual therapy clients. In my practice, I help people to process and recover from the experience of trauma. I am a Registered Psychologist in both AB and SK. I have over 15 years of clinical assessment experience with children, adolescents, adults, public safety personnel, front line workers, and health care professionals. My goal with formal assessment is to help you explore your symptoms, gain understanding of your responses and patterns, and empower you to gain renewed agency, with or without a formal diagnosis. I am competent to diagnose within the scope of the DSM. I also offer trauma treatment and am certified in TFCBT and BOS and have training in CPT, NMT, and other models, having worked in this field over 15 years.
