Victoria Trauma Therapy Centre offers virtual trauma therapy, including EMDR, somatic, and Gottman methods to help you work through trauma, anxiety, PTSD/C-PTSD, and depression. If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or caught in patterns that don’t make sense, we can work together to process what’s underneath and move forward. We support clients with trauma, panic, PTSD, complex PTSD, grief and loss, OCD, and relationship challenges in a way that feels steady, supportive, and focused on real progress. We are a neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ affirming practice.

My name is Toby Rader, as a Narrative Therapist I believe that people are multi-storied. I am most interested in exploring the narrative's that make up your story. Whether that is re-membering those you have lost through crafting a new relationship with grief or engaging in an externalizing conversation about depression & anxiety. I work alongside individuals, couples and families, primarily focusing on adults and elders. I am a neurodivergent person (Autism) and parent. My Autism diagnosis came late in my life. I aim to create a neurodiverse affirming practice,

My therapy approach is person-centered, strength-based, and trauma-informed: you are the expert in your life and we will meet where you are at. I am guided by my education, passion for social justice, and by both my work and lived experience to provide space for people struggling with life transitions, trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, burnout/compassion fatigue, interpersonal challenges, family violence, family and parenting challenges, stress and coping. I’ll work alongside you as challenging emotions, thoughts and feelings arise. You do not have to go through them alone.
