The main focus of my practice is on supporting those who are experiencing grief and bereavement. Grief comes in many forms as well, through life transition, loss of identity, career, relationship. If you have experienced a loss in any of these ways, I can help you with that difficult journey. I also provide support to those experiencing anxiety or depression.
My practice is a trauma-informed and safe place to work on issues related to anxiety, depression, loss, vicarious trauma and relationship issues both intimate and more broadly in your family or social network. My practice is informed through modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Narrative approaches.
Often it is difficult to take that first step. I have worked in the field of mental health and child welfare for over 20 years and use these experiences and perspectives on complex trauma, attachment and relationships to support you finding peace and working through difficult life events.
