Hi, I'm vania (she/her) and I provide support to women and the transitions in their lives. I am a warm, friendly and attentive psychotherapist who strives to have your voice heard. Primarily, my focus is on abuse and trauma therapy. I also have extensive training and experience with perinatal and parenting concerns. By listening with empathy and no judgement, I work with you to create space to explore your situation and facilitate a path to healing. It is my goal to help women in their journey towards a life with resilience. I have your wellbeing in mind so that you can live the life you love.
I am an integrative and relational therapist and believe that the best tool in therapy is the rapport we create. While i mainly use Feminist Therapy, i believe you are the expert in your life, so i also have training in Narrative Therapy, Attachment Theory, Emotion-focused therapy, Somatic modalities, IFS parts work, and Mindfulness-Based tools to draw on.
I provide therapy through a client-centred and trauma-informed practice. With a long history of supporting women who have been abused, this informs my work. I have an understanding of the layers of healing that are necessary. is also important to me that you feel safe and comfortable to share, so i work from an Anti-Racist Anti-Oppression lens.
