Valley Connections Counselling is an established Psychotherapy practice in Burlington. We began as a solo practitioner 10 years ago in Hamilton, and we have grown to a team of Registered Psychotherapists and Child Life Specialists, offering services in person and virtually. Our services are often covered by extended health insurance plans. We emphasize the importance of the therapeutic relationship and we provide a warm, non-judgmental, and supportive counselling environment. At Valley, we take care of the whole family - children to teens to adults, providing individual, couples, parenting, and family therapy.

We believe people are resilient and adaptive and that everyone needs help sometimes. We specialize in relationship issues, addictions, eating disorders, emotion dysregulation, mood disorders, trauma, grief, ADHD, parenting support, perinatal issues, and anxiety. We offer CBT, EMDR, IFS, EFT, EFFT, DBT, MBCT, MI, Imago Therapy, and the Gottman Method.

Professional Connections Supervision Wednesdays

Amanda Youssef

Our Professional Connections groups are designed to provide Registered Psychotherapists with a supportive environment to connect with peers, discuss cases, ask questions, and enhance their professional practice. With a maximum of 8 members per group, these sessions aid in meeting the CRPO requirements for clinical supervision hours. These hours can also be used towards the required experiential learning professional development (40 hours every two years). This group is held virtually on Zoom. Email amanda@valleyconnectionscounselling.ca to register. A primary supervisor is required, as the group facilitator does not replace this role.
