It can be difficult trying to cope with distressing times on your own. Sometimes friends and family can only help so much. My role is to give you caring, non-judgmental support so that you can make sense of your emotions and gain a clearer picture of how your past plays a role in your current relationships. You will begin by telling me about yourself and the reasons why you've come to therapy and then we can explore together new ways of reflecting and interacting that will lead to a more fulfilling life.
If you are in a relationship, you may consider bringing in your spouse as well. Often couples will come in together and on their own to learn new ways of communicating in order to break frustrating patterns they feel stuck in.
In addition to my Masters Degree, I have a Diploma from the Toronto Institute of Relational Psychotherapy and I am a Clinical Member of Ontario Society for Registered Psychotherapists. I've also experienced life with ups and downs and gone to therapy myself so I know, first hand, that a supportive therapist can change the course of your life
