My approach is to provide a safe and non-judgemental space to explore life challenges and work toward improved functioning. I draw on different approaches such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), solution focused therapy and polyvagal informed theory in order to tailor the counselling experience to the unique needs of the client. My practice is centred around values of curiosity and respect for the client’s lived experience, with a focus on creating increased self compassion and internal safety. I believe that we can access internal strengths that foster improved wellbeing through increased awareness and intentional practice.
