My philosophy of practice is to work closely with you so that you accomplish your goals in therapy. Working with you, I provide a combination of narrative, cognitive behavioral therapy, and coaching in order to help you achieve the health and well being that you want to gain. I have experience with trauma victims with P.T.S.D. using E.M.D.R. as a method of healing. There are also times where I can work with you using Brief Solution Focused Therapy because there are situations that do not require long term therapy.
I do like to focus on Cognitive Behavior Therapy in partnership with Narrative. I believe the client knows exactly what she/he needs. And using these methodologies help the client change what is not working and create what helps to create the healthy life they want to have.
My clients have told me that I help them heal and that I am a "straight talker", that I do not use flowery jargon or psycho-babble. In my practice I do my very best to create comfortable environment where clients can learn, grow and heal.
