NOW ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS. Clarity Counsellors have a minimum of a Master’s degree in the counselling field. This comes with 7 years of formal education, plus multiple practicums where skills are developed to ensure clients are getting the services they need. Our educations are supported by our own journeys, too. We have been there; explored sexuality, experienced trauma, lived through relationship breakdowns/heartbreak, built self-esteem, grieved a loss, and worked through difficult parenting situations. We know what the work is like, and how it feels to come out the other side. We want to help you do the same.

My ideal client may be a child or teen who feels overwhelmed by big emotions, peer relationships, or a sense of belonging. Parents often reach out feeling worried and wanting to better support their child. I also work with adults navigating anxiety, relationships, parenting, or patterns rooted in earlier experiences, including women who have experienced domestic violence. At the core, clients are seeking safety, understanding, and meaningful connection.

Hello, I'm Nicholle Miller, a counsellor in training with experience working with people who face a variety of challenges in life, including trauma, chronic pain, anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, depression, and problems in relationships and families.
I became a counsellor as I grew up experiencing child abuse and neglect resulting in CPTSD and chronic pain and illness diagnoses. I know firsthand how counselling and the work done between sessions can empower someone to break free from the surviving mechanisms that allowed them to move through the trauma but are now preventing them from creating the life they want.

I am a counsellor of 25 years, with a diverse background in anger management, addictions, domestic violence, emotional trauma, anxiety, and depression. Over the years I have helped men and women get to the root of their anger and develop the communication skills to help them express their feelings verbally in a respectful way rather than explosively. I also help individuals find purpose.

Are you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of who you are beneath all the roles you juggle? Many women carry the invisible weight of expectations and can often balance work, relationships, family, and identity at the expense of their own well-being. You may be wondering when life stopped feeling joyful or when you stopped feeling like you. You're not alone, and things don't have to stay this way.

70 years of life experience has been my best teacher (even though I have all the necessary professional training.) I have experienced loss when 2 spouses passed away from disease. I have won my own battles with cancer and addiction. I have raised 4 children, 2 step children (some with special needs) and now enjoy 12 grandchildren. I treat anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and anger by addressing the root of the problem - trauma. I am trained in EMDR, which is useful in healing PTSD (both childhood and adult trauma). Within minutes (not months) the pain of trauma may be permanently erased and people are less triggered in life.

I am so glad to be here with you. I know we've not met yet, but I can tell that you’re smart, capable, and always trying to do the right thing and you're rocking it—but inside, it feels like you’re just able to hold it together. You’re tired of the constant pressure, the rat race, the self-doubt, the overwhelm—especially when it shows up in your parenting, your relationships with others as well as the one with yourself. Deep down, you want to feel calm, confident, and more like yourself again. You’re ready to break painful patterns and build something better—and you want someone who really gets it to walk alongside you while you do.
