People often come to therapy with hopes of feeling happier and more fulfilled, yet the process of change can be frightening and uncomfortable. I want my clients to feel they are in the driver's seat, with access to the brake and gas. I am the passenger with the road map. I will guide their healing journey but they choose the direction and pace. I truly believe the only thing more frightening than 'change' is the status quo. Why settle? You deserve more!

Currently on maternity leave. Our feelings, thoughts, and relationships can be messy. Sometimes, it all feels like it’s just too much. I know what that’s like. I also know it’s a little bit easier when, instead of turning away, someone chooses to sit with you in those moments and says: "This isn’t too much. You’re not (insert terrible thing you fear is true about you). You don’t have to hold this alone.” I believe that’s my job as a therapist – to sit with you in the midst of all that messiness and help you hold the painful and overwhelming parts. From there, we can work together to untangle it and move towards your goals.

I am passionate about working with clients who feel stuck in patterns like people-pleasing, difficulty setting boundaries, overthinking, or feeling responsible for others, often putting others ahead of themselves. I also support individuals navigating relationship challenges and communication issues. Many have been shaped by early life experiences and relationship wounds. I enjoy working with those who are motivated and ready for change. Together, we explore how your past shapes your present, reconnect with your authentic self, and build healthier boundaries, improve communication, and create a more values-aligned life.

As a therapist, and human in general, I am passionate about creating space for the stories and emotions that are so often pushed away, hidden from view, and disavowed. I believe that to be seen, heard, and accepted in these tender places can be a profoundly healing experience, even (and especially) when there is "nothing to do about it," other than bear witness and grieve. An important piece of this process is moving towards a way of being that centers less around achieving, perfecting and “doing” and much more around “being.” Being present, being messy, being perfectly imperfect and ok with slow processes and uncertainties.
