I know it can feel overwhelming trying to find the right counsellor, so thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I love to work with clients who: identify as “very self-aware”; feel ready to do the "deeper work"; feel like counselling was not very helpful in the past or like they have plateaued with their current therapist; often find themselves over-explaining to others; feel frustrated by our systems in place; struggle to identify their emotions and/or how to manage them; don’t feel sure who they really are; or are seeking support around depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, challenging family dynamics, and personal growth.

I take a relational, somatic, and psycho-educational approach. We will pair the "what & why" of your feelings with what is happening physiologically in the body and neurologically in the brain. In addition to moving forward, we will also move deeper. From here, we can give ourselves the compassion and understanding needed to move towards how we WANT to feel.

It's more than ok if you aren't sure how or where to start with counselling. I am a very curious and intuitive person by nature and will ask you a lot of questions to help guide us in our work together. Together we will build trust and rapport, use humour, practice direct and healthy communication, and feel genuine connection.
