I love this work and the venue it creates for the kind of conversations that change our lives - honest, compassionate, insightful, vulnerable. Because I have found it to be the greatest therapeutic tool we can create together, my focus is on our relationship, our trust and resonance. I have over twenty-five years of experience working collaboratively with neurodiverse and neurotypical people of all ages to help develop and attain their goals, and I would consider it a privilege to work with you.
I am registered with the BCACC (2886), and hold both a BSc and an MA in Counselling Psychology from UBC. I am a Gottman Level 2 trained marriage therapist, as well as an Approved Clinical Supervisor. In my practice, I use many proven methods from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy while maintaining both Family Systems and Attachment perspectives.
I have spent a significant amount of time traveling and working in various countries all over the world. This, along with being a member of the adoptive community, has created a love and respect for different cultures, orientations, and ways of forming families. I was born and raised on the North Shore of Vancouver but do not own a mountain bike.
