I primarily work with those in relationships, both romantic and families, aiming to help people learn how to grow well in life individually and together. If you would like to strengthen a stagnant marriage, hedge against divorce, improve communication, or recover from an affair, I can help. I also work with children (ages 6 and up), teenagers, and family units navigating parenting issues, emotion regulation, ADHD, and trauma. Although I specialize in marriage and familes, I love working with individuals battling mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, past trauma, grief, addictions, and more.
I have been working with children, youth, and famiIies for 20 years. I work from a systems perspective which means I look at each person's place in the family system and the influence one has on the other and how they affect personal issues. I am trained in the Gottman method (level two). With individuals, I use cognitive behavioral therapy techniques.
