Hello and welcome! I am Dr. Subie. I work with adults across Ontario. I provide treatment for various difficulties including: trauma and PTSD, depression, grief, anger, anxiety, OCD, worry, work stress, interpersonal problems, insomnia, and psychosis (e.g., schizophrenia).
I consider myself an integrative therapist. That is, I offer evidence-based treatment by combining skills and knowledge from various therapy modalities. I strive to tailor my approach to match the unique needs of the individual client.
My training is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure-based Therapies (such as Prolonged Exposure), trauma focused therapies, and multicultural counselling. I am also trained in providing psychodiagnostic and psychoeducational assessments.
