We operate on the philosophy that "storms make trees take deeper roots." Why? Because we can recognize that no matter your experience, our pasts can greatly impact our present. Trauma-informed therapy focuses on the survivor, which includes understanding how adverse experiences shape who we are, how we interact, and our perspectives of the world around us. At True Roots Therapy, we believe that true healing begins at the root. Our practice is dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families uncover the foundational sources of their struggles, explore their deepest challenges, and foster meaningful personal growth.
True Roots Therapy consists of trained and licensed practitioners, each with different therapeutic modalities, specialties and life experiences. We offer flexible hours to suit your schedule (including evenings and weekends), low-cost and flexible fees, and either virtual sessions on a secure platform or in-person sessions at our cozy Toronto office.
No matter your past or present, we always offer a compassionate and evidence-based approach to help you reconnect with your roots and create lasting change.
