We are a clinic of Asian psychotherapists dedicated to creating safe spaces for you to feel understood, accepted, and respected. We work with individual adults and children as well as relationships of all kinds. Life can feel challenging and heavy, with all the expectations from various realms of life, and it can feel like we're trapped in a cycle of feeling not-good-enough, and working to exhaustion. We know that the Asian cultural stigma around therapy can make it so challenging to reach out to finding the right fit. No matter your challenge, our team of compassionate therapists from various Asian backgrounds are here to help.
We are True Resilience Psychotherapy, a Toronto-based clinic dedicated to creating an inclusive, compassionate, and trauma-informed space for first- and second-generation Asian immigrants, adults, and elders. We work with a variety of concerns, with focus on family conflicts, relationship challenges, self-esteem and confidence, stress, and life transitions.
With any topic or concern, our team of therapists have a particular focus and training on the impact of the East Asian immigrant identity & culture with these challenges. The decision to start therapy can be daunting, but we will be here to guide you through the process and answer your questions. Reach out so we can find the right therapist for you!
