Trauma changes you, but it does not have to define you. It is a chapter in your story, but it does not have to be your entire story. With 14 years of experience working with survivors of childhood abuse, sexual violence, and emotional neglect, I understand the complexity and depth of the pain you may carry. Sometimes that pain manifests itself as complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and/or dissociation, leading to feelings of helplessness or hopelessness. Although healing from trauma can feel like an overwhelming journey, you don’t have to walk that path alone.
Utilizing evidence-based practices, I incorporate elements of Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Narrative Therapy into our work. Together, we can explore the past, understand its impact on your present, and begin to build a path to greater self-awareness and resilience.
