I am a Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW) who provides individual therapy/counselling services in British Columbia. My practice is person-centred, trauma-informed, and draws largely from Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and Narrative approaches. I believe each person is the expert in their own life and inherently has the knowledge and resources necessary to guide the therapeutic process, make changes, and move toward their preferred ways of living. I am here to support you in this process.
I have a reputation for being non-judgmental and gentle in my approach, which promotes the sense of safety and openness necessary to collaboratively unpack and find relief from the challenges of life. Often, this involves building awareness of old emotional patterns and working together to develop and experience new and preferred patterns in session.
In my nine years working in a variety of mental health and addiction settings, I have gained extensive experience supporting people facing challenges with anxiety, depression, stress (work, school), relationships, identity, anger, motivation, self-esteem, substance use and process addictions (i.e. pornography, gaming), and psychosis.
