Trauma therapy. Although you can't heal past trauma on your own, I believe I can help you. I have more than ten years experience dealing with trauma, PTSD, sexual abuse, and sexual assault. I'm a former hospital chaplain for the Emergency, Intensive Care, and Burn Units, and I've written about trauma (including an invited paper) for major psychology journals. Academic articles have cited me almost 4,000 times.
I often get asked whether I do EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprogramming). It's trendy and widely used, but it is not among the treatments strongly recommended by the American Psychological Association. Following APA recommendations, I use techniques based on cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT). It can yield astonishing results - with time.
