I work with adults navigating various mental, emotional and behavioural health challenges, providing my clients with a safe, comfortable space in which to explore their therapy goals and achieve positive growth. I take an integrated approach, using CBT, DBT, ACT, and EMDR to provide my clients with evidence-based skills and strategies in trauma and PTSD treatment, mindfulness, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness to navigate relationship issues, grief, and major life changes. My research and clinical interests include the unique experiences of first responders, elite athletes, and other high-stakes professionals.
Certified by Wounded Warrior as an Occupationally Aware Healthcare Provider, I understand the unique work culture and repeated trauma exposure of first responders. My training in evidence based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) enables me to treat PTSD & PTSI, addiction, burnout, anxiety & depression in these groups.
My goal with all clients is to help them harness their strengths, become more aligned with their values, build resilience, and live a life of purpose and fulfillment.
