For more than 20 years, I have focused on helping children, teens, and adults navigate trauma, personal challenges, relationship struggles, mental health, and behavioural concerns. My approach is relaxed, neuroaffirming, compassionate, and collaborative; it is grounded in experience working with clients in private practice, crisis services, family outreach, lived-in treatment, treatment classrooms, and youth justice. Together, we can tackle complex mental health challenges, anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-harm, trauma, behavioural challenges, and parent work. Parent - child relationships hold a focus in my work.
My practice is centered around your goals for change and well-being. We will utilize assessment and evidence-based therapeutic approaches in our work together. Our collaborative treatment plan will ensure we are aligned and effective in addressing your goals and challenges. I often utilize DBT, CBT, Emotion-Focused, IFS, and narrative approaches in sessions.
You understand your needs, family, and situation the best. Working together, we will create a plan that addresses those needs in a way that makes sense for you. We will identify and incorporate your strengths and explore root causes as we develop new tools and understanding to achieve your goals. Let's connect for a consultation.
