Anger Management (ongoing ONLINE group)

Learn how to react to conflict in a healthy way and improve your quality of life. Identify your stressors and develop ways to control your reactions using the principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Acquire skills to respond to stressful situations in a socially appropriate manner. This workshop takes place online over 6 weeks (1.5-hour sessions, 9 hours total). Upon completion, you will receive a formal certificate of attendance. $200 + HST. English and Spanish, with other languages available based on need. Start any time! Date and time is flexible to meet the needs of group members.

Trauma-focused Group

A 12-session therapeutic group for adults, designed to help participants explore demanding or negative experiences, manage emotions and become more flexible by developing an attitude of acceptance. Program objectives: explore relationship with internal emotional experiences; become more flexible and develop greater acceptance attitude in life; develop positive attitude and personal growth; and, improve quality of life and wellbeing. In English, with other languages based on need. Participants must see a wellness practitioner for an individual initial assessment before joining the group.

Mindful Movements

Weekly online group workshops that use mindfulness, breathing exercises, and gentle, flowing body movement to reduce chronic pain. Using these techniques, participants will learn to manage their pain and improve their quality of life. Offered in English with Spanish interpretation.
