I believe that everyone can use some help figuring out how to deal with the challenges that we all face. My warmth, compassion, and empathy work together with my training and life experience as a husband, and father to the biological, adopted and foster children that are part of my family.
This creates a place of safety for clients to share the parts of their lives that they are struggling with. As a therapist, I aim to walk along with my clients without judgment, helping them to use their strengths to discover new paths forward.
I work with all ages from 5 to 105 who are struggling with any of the common challenges that many of us face. My special areas of interest are ADHD and Autism, and working with people affected by the foster care system and adoption, and adverse religious experiences. I grew up on a dairy farm in rural Ontario and have strong roots in the farming community.
As someone who has needed support from a therapist I know that sometimes life can be hard. I'm here to help!
